'Dredd 3D' Featurette Provides History of the Judge, Jury and Executioner

A new DREDD 3D featurette has come online and shows some new footage from the Pete Travis directed film, while also providing a brief history of the character played by Karl Urban. Check it out below, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies UK (via Dailymotion).

The R-rated action sci-fi opens in theaters September 21st and co-stars Lena Headey and Olivia Thirlby.

The future America is an irradiated waste land. On its East Coast, running from Boston to Washington DC, lies Mega City One- a vast, violent metropolis where criminals rule the chaotic streets.
