With a screenplay by Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard, X-Men Origins: Wolverine), BREACHER follows an elite DEA task force that robs a dangerous drug cartel under the guise of a tactical raid on one of its safe houses. They think they've gotten away with millions in merchandise, until team members begin getting bumped off one by one. Williams will play a "tenaciously cutthroat detective who's investigating the team murders," according to the trade.
The actress joins a previously announced cast that includes, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sam Worthington, Terrence Howard, Dawn Olivieri, Joe Manganiello and Malin Akerman.
Williams can be seen next in Anna Karenina and Hyde Park on Hudson, where she stars as Eleanor Roosevelt to Bill Murray’s FDR.
